135 projects. Zero shortcuts.

Every number on this page is a completed façade remediation — assessed, documented, removed, replaced and certified. No concept renders, no projects "in discussion". This is the work, and it stands in the Victorian skyline.

01 — The portfolio

Four sectors. One discipline.

135 remediation projects delivered across Victoria over 12+ years — every one inside our specialism, every one documented to the standard a regulator would expect. The four sectors below are where the bulk of that work stands.

Commercial · retail · hospitality

Residential & strata

Industrial & data centres

Education & health

The mix matters. A hyperscale data centre, an operating hotel, an occupied government headquarters and a residential strata tower each impose very different constraints — but the discipline never changes: assess, document, remove, replace, certify. The case studies below show what that discipline looks like under the harshest conditions our clients could set.

We publish these numbers because they are the honest measure of a specialist. Pro-Build Plus holds an unlimited commercial building licence obtained specifically for cladding remediation, and in over 12 years we have not delivered a single project outside that scope. When the work is this regulated, breadth is a warning sign. Depth is the asset.

02 — Case studies

Five buildings. Five sets of constraints.

Mission-critical uptime, sleeping hotel guests, a working government office, residents asleep behind the wall — these are the projects that prove a methodology, because nothing about them forgives improvisation.

Truganina Microsoft Data Centre 11 — non-combustible façade by Pro-Build Plus
Industrial · Data Centre 13,888 m² Design & Construct

Truganina — Microsoft Data Centre 11

The largest data centre in the Southern Hemisphere is not a forgiving place to build a façade. Truganina DC11 is a mission-critical environment with zero-tolerance quality assurance, strict security protocols and uptime constraints that govern every hour of site activity. At 13,888 m², it is the largest façade in our portfolio — and the least tolerant of error.

Pro-Build Plus delivered the comprehensive planning, technical design and construction of a high-performance non-combustible façade system, engineered to rigorous international benchmarks rather than minimum local compliance. Every panel was documented from specification through to installation — a panel-by-panel delivery record built for an operator that audits everything.

The result satisfies the most demanding owner we work for: a fully compliant, fully documented façade, delivered inside the security and uptime constraints of a live mission-critical campus.

Yarraville Microsoft Data Centre 5 — compliant façade installation by Pro-Build Plus
Industrial · Data Centre 8,588 m² Design & Construct

Yarraville — Microsoft Data Centre 5

Mission-critical facilities concentrate risk. A single non-compliant panel is not a defect to be patched later — it is a threat to insurability, security accreditation and continuity of service. Yarraville DC5 ranks among Australia's most stringent operating environments, and its 8,588 m² façade had to meet that standard without a single exception.

We carried complete design and construct responsibility: the design, engineering and installation of a fully compliant non-combustible façade system, with the documentation discipline the operator demands applied at every stage — from material selection through to final fixing.

DC5 now operates behind a façade whose compliance is never in question, supported by records its owner can put in front of any auditor, insurer or regulator.

“When a project is finished, we don't just leave you with a beautiful building. We hand over an airtight, panel-by-panel audit trail — so your asset's compliance is never in question.”

The Blackman Hotel, St Kilda — façade replacement on an operating hotel by Pro-Build Plus
Hospitality 8,388 m² Design & Construct

The Blackman Hotel — St Kilda

Most contractors remediate empty buildings. The Blackman stayed open. Guests slept, checked in and dined metres from a façade being progressively replaced — which meant noise, access, safety and presentation all had to be managed as carefully as the compliance outcome itself.

Under a Design & Construct engagement, Pro-Build Plus delivered the comprehensive replacement of 8,388 m² of façade — from fire-rating design through to the installation of a high-performance non-combustible system — with every stage of work sequenced around guests, events and the daily operations of a working hotel.

The outcome: a hospitality asset that traded throughout its own remediation, now wrapped in a compliant façade with the certification and documentation to match.

Melbourne Water HQ, Docklands — recladding of an operational government headquarters by Pro-Build Plus
Government · Commercial 2,385 m² Design & Construct

Melbourne Water HQ — Docklands

A government headquarters carries a different kind of pressure: public accountability. Melbourne Water's Docklands HQ remained fully operational throughout the project, with a workforce in occupation and an owner whose documentation standards are set by statute, not preference.

Pro-Build Plus delivered the full Design & Construct recladding: the systematic removal of non-compliant combustible cladding and the installation of a compliant façade system, sequenced around a working government office so the building never had to empty out.

At 2,385 m² it is the smallest project on this page — and proof the methodology scales in both directions. The same audit trail, the same certification, the same accountability, whatever the size of the wall.

Wellington Parade, East Melbourne — façade remediation on an occupied residential tower with the Melbourne CBD skyline behind
Residential Occupied tower Non-combustible recladding

Wellington Parade — East Melbourne

On the CBD fringe, a high-rise residential tower with residents in occupation — arguably the most sensitive environment in which to strip and replace a façade. People were asleep behind the very walls being remediated, so every shift had to be planned around the rhythms of a lived-in building.

Pro-Build Plus removed the non-compliant combustible cladding and installed a certified non-combustible system, accessed by mast-climber and cradle so the tower never had to be vacated. Each elevation was documented panel-by-panel, to the standard a body corporate and its insurer now expect.

The result: an occupied residential tower made compliant without displacing a single resident — handed over with the full audit trail that makes a building insurable again.

05 — Questions

What clients ask before they engage us.

Straight answers — the same ones we give on the phone.

Yes. Once we understand your building and your sector, we arrange direct references with the clients whose projects are most relevant — an owners corporation speaks to an owners corporation, a facilities manager to a facilities manager. Many of our clients operate regulated or security-sensitive environments, so we coordinate introductions personally rather than publishing contact details. Ask when you make an inquiry.
No. Our unlimited commercial building licence was obtained specifically for cladding remediation, and our specialism is the Victorian regulatory environment — the VBA, Cladding Safety Victoria, Victorian building surveyors and the local insurance market. We do not chase work outside our specialism, and that includes geography. If your building is in Victoria, it is in scope.
There is no fixed minimum. The portfolio on this page runs from a 2,385 m² government headquarters to a 13,888 m² data centre, and our 135 completed projects include residential strata buildings smaller than either. The qualifying question is not size — it is whether the work is a genuine façade remediation that needs documented compliance. If it is, we will scope it.
Certification is issued by the relevant building surveyor, supported where required by fire-engineering evidence. Our job is to make that sign-off straightforward: compliant system selection, AS 1530.1-tested non-combustible materials, complete design documentation and a panel-by-panel audit trail your surveyor, insurer and owners corporation can rely on. We build for the inspection, not around it.
The summaries on this page are what we can publish. Several of our clients — mission-critical data centre operators among them — impose strict confidentiality and security conditions, so full scopes, QA records and close-out documentation are shared privately where appropriate. Make an inquiry and we will walk you through projects comparable to yours, in as much depth as our client agreements allow.

Your building could be project 136.
